Here at Ray Johnston Designer Photography we offer unique high school senior portrait sessions. Looking for photos that are cutting edge, unique, and artistic? Pushing beyond the typical high school portrait photography? We offer all of that! Our studio specializes in custom photography, and you can trust us to offer you a fun and creative photo session. Our photographer Ray Johnston will use lighting and background to enhance your best facial features, tailoring every aspect of the shoot to you. Ray has worked with models, the fashion industry, and many famous musicians over the years. Now he creates images for many people who really care about how their images will look. Once you reserve Ray, he will help you with suggestions on clothing, backgrounds, locations, and digital editing of the images to make you look your best. No more stiff, boring images! Instead, Ray will capture the true you, allowing your personality to shine through in every photograph!

We also offer the option of being photographed with your friends. During your consultation with Ray you share your desires and vision for your session, and our studio can make it happen!
We offer a wide variety of options for your high school senior photo session, from incorporating your hobby to shooting outside in an urban or more natural location. Ray will work with you to customize the session to capture your personality.
Very much like a modeling session, we will use lighting and backgrounds you would see in a current popular magazine. Ray also uses a hair fan to create movement within the photograph.
For the finished photographs our studio offers a wide array of sizes, color treatments (such as classic black and white), and digital retouching to make your high school senior look their absolute best.

I am beyond thrilled with the pictures Ray took of my son marking his Senior year. Michael is a musician, as well as a kind thoughtful person, and I wanted some unique pictures capturing the real him. Some pictures of him with his clarinet and sax and others just of him. I was not just looking for a picture of him holding his instruments, or a straight face shot when told to smile. Ray and his staff took the time to get to know Michael and who he was as a person, even his favorite color which was incorporated in some of the pictures. In the musical pictures Ray was able to capture his passion for music the photos he took of him actually playing his instruments made them come to life with such unique shots! I, also for the first time, was able to get some beautiful handsome pictures with the true Michael coming through not just the phony school picture smile I've seen the last 12 years. This whole photo shoot was beyond all my expectations, Ray is a true artist!
